Almost 600 shells in the suitcase, fined tourists in Sardinia

(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, APRIL 14 – Shells, drugs, clothing and counterfeit work equipment seized. This is what the Guardia di Finanza soldiers recovered during checks at the port and airport in Cagliari. In particular, the soldiers of the yellow flames fined an Irish tourist and a Portuguese tourist because they hid 564 shells taken from the beaches of Cagliari in their luggage.

Also at the “Mameli” airport, the Financiers reported two Tunisian tourists who hid 35 items of clothing with counterfeit brands in their suitcases, while three other travelers were reported to the Prefecture because they were found in possession of a few grams of marijuana and hashish.

The discovery made during a search aboard a car driven by a 50-year-old who has just landed at the commercial port is different. The military found and seized 5 grinders and 8 chainsaws with counterfeit brands. On board the car there were also stickers with the counterfeit brands and fake warranty certificates. The 50-year-old was denounced.
