(ANSA) – PAVIA, APRIL 16 – He went to a hotel in the province of Pavia to spend a romantic night with his lover. But a few minutes after entering the room the carabinieri arrived. The man, a 56-year-old from Varese, could not in fact move from home as he is currently positive for Covid-19. The military, after identifying him, reported him to the Varese prosecutor’s office.
Upon arriving at the hotel, the couple provided their documents at the reception. The personal details of the two, as required by law, were sent to the police.
At that point it emerged that the name of the 56-year-old appeared in the list of the Ats of Varese among the people currently in quarantine who cannot leave their home until a swab has ascertained their negativity to the virus.
The carabinieri then joined him at the hotel and, after notifying him of the complaint, invited him to wear a mask and immediately go home. (HANDLE).
