(ANSA) – ALBA ADRIATICA, APRIL 18 – Shortly after 2 am on the night just passed, a man was hit and killed by a train near the station of Alba Adriatica (Teramo), while traveling towards San Benedetto del Tronto. The railway police are carrying out investigations to trace the identity of the victim and verify the dynamics of the death. During the judicial police operations, which ended only this morning around 7.30, the railway traffic was severely slowed down and the trains in transit accumulated longer travel times of up to 90 minutes. The train involved in the investment has finished its run in the Porto d’Ascoli station. On the spot, in addition to the railway police, the firefighters intervened. Traffic on the line only resumed regularly around 7.45 am. (HANDLE).
