• Beet.

  Some herbs, such as sorrel, arugula, cilantro, lettuce, spinach, celery, parsley, thrive in the shade of trees. Their leaves grow larger, softer and juicier than in sunny areas.
• Horseradish.
  This plant just prefers shade more, its leaves grow better and remain tender for a long time. And the roots grow large and fleshy.
• Garlic.

• Cabbage.
  Most varieties of cabbage, including broccoli and kohlrabi, do not need strong and constant lighting, but they love high humidity. It is best to plant cabbage where there will be no sun in the afternoon. But in full shade, cabbage pests – slugs and snails – can become more active.
• Potato.
  With a lack of lighted areas, potatoes can easily be planted in a slightly shaded place and do not forget to water.

• Raspberry.
  The queen of shady areas. If you have an unoccupied windless and dark piece of land along the fence or behind the house, plant fragrant raspberries there – its berries in the shade will be larger and juicier.
• Blackberry.
  Another shade-loving shrub that grows and gives a good harvest in partial shade, provided that the soil is constantly moistened.
• Currant.
  The open sun is detrimental to currants, but in shaded and calm places, near buildings and with a lot of moisture, they will give a good harvest.
• Gooseberry.
  This is a universal culture that takes root in any area. Gooseberries love to grow and ripen in the shade of fruit trees, delighting with a bountiful harvest.
