(ANSA) – MILAN, APRIL 28 – A 71-year-old woman, Silvana Erzenberger, shot a couple of neighbors this morning, killing him, Luigi Casati, 68, and seriously injuring his wife, Monica Leoni, aged 58. All origin of the gesture there would be condominium disputes. The old woman was stopped by the carabinieri. The shooting took place in front of a residential complex in via Brasside, in Treviglio, in the province of Bergamo and near the former state road 42 of the Tonale.
The 71-year-old allegedly fired at least five gunshots towards the victims. Casati died instantly, his wife was transported to the hospital in Bergamo. The couple and the old woman who was stopped lived on different floors of the same building. Before her, the 71-year-old would have shot her husband, then she would have gone back into the house and, when she went out again, she would have injured his wife. The bangs were distinctly felt in the area.
