(ANSA) – BRESCIA, APRIL 29 – A school assistant was arrested by the Brescia carabinieri for ill-treatment and aggravated injury to the disabled child she was following.
The arrest was triggered in the act of crime after the investigations had begun with the complaint of the parents who reported that they found irrefutable signs of physical violence on the body.
Investigations were therefore immediately activated, also through the installation of hidden environmental cameras inside the classroom, which made it possible to find out what was reported.
The parents told the carabinieri not only that they found the physical signs on the child but also noticed an evident change in the child’s mood and attitude.
Thanks to hidden cameras, the military has ascertained that the assistant allegedly committed repeated physical violence during school hours. In fact, in the videos you can see slaps, hair pulling and pinching. The carabinieri then intervened immediately at the school, taking the assistant away from the classroom who was immediately arrested as he was presumed to be responsible for severe ill-treatment and aggravated injuries to the detriment of a minor with disabilities. The woman is in prison in Verziano. The little girl hugged the carabiniere who saved her. (HANDLE).
