(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 30 APR – The Municipality of Trieste has announced that the agreement with the Margherita Hack Foundation relating to the project for cataloging the book heritage of the Margherita Hack and Aldo De Rosa Fund has not been renewed.
Furthermore, cataloging has never started.
The municipal administration, on the other hand, will set up a Scientific Commission to “decide how, where and with which entities to catalog the book heritage”. The Commission, explains the Municipality, will be open “to the variegated worlds of science, to ERPAC and to those who can and will make an effective contribution to enhancing the legacy of Prof. Margherita Hack”.
The decision to entrust the cataloging to the Margherita Hack Foundation was followed by strong controversies, especially from the world of science and research.
