“Servants of the people” are preparing a new turbo mode in the Rada: what does it mean

The head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia said that at the congress in Truskavets they will discuss the possibility of parliamentary work in the new turbo mode in order to have time to fulfill as many pre-election promises as possible.

He said this on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.

According to him, the “servants” have only two years left to manage to realize at least part of their plans.

“We are conditionally at the“ equator ”stage. We have already worked out half of the term (of the 9th convocation of the Rada) and another half is ahead. Not much. For a common man in the street, a lot, but if you take the inertia of the state machine in order to feel the results of the changes, it is not much, “Arahamia said.

He noted that while the law and bylaws are being adopted, one initiative may take six months.

“We need to bring together everything that we have already done, what we still have to do, prioritize these programs, perhaps drop something, because we do not have time, and go at a fast pace. turbo mode, because we already need to run at a high speed. First turbo mode-2019

• From late August to mid-October 2019, when the “servants of the people” first got to legislative work, work was in full swing in the Rada, laws were adopted very quickly and a lot, for which they were repeatedly criticized.
• President Volodymyr Zelenskyy even praised the “servants” for this and noted that in two months more than 40 laws had been adopted, some of which business and other international partners had been waiting for years.
• In mid-October of the same year, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, announced that the parliament was ending with the turbo mode. At the same time, he noted that the deputies will not work worse or slower, but simply move on to more planned work.

Let us remind you that the congress of “servants of the people” in Truskavets will take place on October 1-2, and the deputies will be accommodated in the luxurious Rixos Prykarpattya hotel. The political force dubbed the event as the “big faction”, and President Volodymyr Zelensky will also be present there. At the same time, Arakhamia said that Razumkov had not yet been invited there.
