(ANSA) – PAVIA, 02 MAY – Pavia today was involved in the civil disobedience campaign of the “Ultima Generazione” association. A number of roadblocks have been implemented in the city to raise awareness among institutions and public opinion on the serious environmental problems linked to the climate emergency. Traffic was blocked between viale Matteotti and Strada Nuova, in the center. Boys and girls sat in the middle of the street with banners and signs that read slogans like “Climate and ecological emergency”, “Latest Generation”, “Don’t fossilize, join us”. Eight activists were accompanied to the police station in Pavia to be identified.
