(ANSA) – LECCE, 04 MAY – “Many young people, all over Italy” paid a Foundation three thousand euros per course to be recognized as social health workers, but the certificate issued was false: five people were arrested by the military of the Provincial Commands of Lecce and Brindisi of the Guardia di Finanza.
As part of the operation, coordinated by the Lecce Public Prosecutor’s Office, seizures for a total value of one million euros and searches were carried out against 250 companies associated with the Foundation. In total, the suspects are 17.
The persons under investigation in the context of the operation called “Sterile Certificates” are accused, for various reasons, of aggravated fraud, counterfeiting of acts of public value, material falsehood and self-laundering. (HANDLE).
