(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 04 – New wave of bad weather over Italy. From tomorrow the maximums will drop further due to a disturbance that will bring about persistent rains.
This is what Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologist of the site www.iLMeteo.it announces, underlining that there is the possibility that the perturbations are even more than one in a few hours.
“An unstable area – he says – is advancing between the Western Mediterranean and Algeria, while a small cyclone is descending from the North Sea towards Holland and France”. A situation that will lead to widespread rain for 3-4 days.
The clash between a maritime polar air mass and the air from the Maghreb could in fact favor intense rains from tomorrow afternoon, more persistent on Emilia Romagna and on central Italian regions. Mother’s Day weekend unstable, albeit slightly improving, especially north of the Po river.
Sunday will be sunnier in the morning, but thunderstorms in the afternoon. Furthermore, it seems confirmed that from Thursday to Saturday temperatures will remain below the average for the period. To savor the first summer-like heat it is estimated a wait of about a week.
In detail – Wednesday 4. In the North: worsens in the afternoon in the northwest with scattered thunderstorms. In the Center: afternoon thunderstorms over the Apennines and inland Tuscany. In the South: sunny with some showers in the mountains.
– Thursday 5. In the North: widespread instability in the Northwest regions and Alpine and pre-Alpine sectors, many clouds elsewhere. In the Center: worsens from the afternoon / evening with widespread rain. In the South: stable until late afternoon.
– Friday 6. In the North: rains, even widespread. In the Center: rain at times widespread and locally strong. In the South: very unstable in all regions.
Trend. Unstable period with frequent showers, disturbed weekend especially in the Center-South. Sunny spells on Sunday 8 May, Mother’s Day. (HANDLE).
