(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, MAY 06 – They beat her savagely because a boy who was interested in one of them had paid her some compliments. They grabbed her by her hair, flung her onto the asphalt and kicked and punched her in the head. It happened in Cagliari, in the central Piazza Matteotti. Victim of three bullies, a 20-year-old student who found the courage to report to the police what had happened to her.
Two 16-year-old girls and one 21-year-old, all residing in the Cagliari hinterland, were reported by the mobile squad for aggravated injuries and threats.
According to what was reconstructed by the investigators, one of the complaints was interested in a boy who at that moment was in Piazza Matteotti, but he had rejected her after she had tried to approach him. Otherwise, the young man had made some kind appreciation towards the 20-year-old student. This was enough to unleash the anger of the bullies. The rejected girl has before her insulted and threatened her rival “You are weak, be good or I’ll kill you”, she would have told her; then together with her two friends she hurled herself at her. She grabbed her by her hair and threw her to the ground, then they started hitting her head and abdomen with kicks and punches, even going so far as to pull out some strands of her hair.
Some passers-by would have witnessed the attack but no one intervened or called 113. The victim was treated at the Brotzu emergency room for a cranial and jaw contusion, with a prognosis of 10 days. Insults and threats also continued in the following days through social networks, until the complaint. (HANDLE).
