(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 09 – A taste of summer with peaks of 30-31 ° C on the Po Valley and the valleys of Alto Adige, 27 ° C in the center, in Puglia and upper Campania and “alone” 26 ° C instead on the rest of the South. These are the predictions of Antonio Sanò, director and founder of the site www.iLMeteo.it. Merit of the anticyclone that will first touch the north and then move towards the center-south. The sun will prevail over all regions and cloudiness will be more present only on the reliefs in general. A situation that could last at least until the weekend of 14-15 May, except for a temporary decline in the same in the North between Friday and Saturday. Then the meteorological scenario will change again with the formation of new depression centers that could spoil the weather in the North from mid-month.
Today the weather will still be influenced by the vortex located near Sicily which in recent days has brought so many rains and thunderstorms, but on Wednesday 11th it will definitively abandon Italy. Until then, thunderstorms could still occur on the Apennines and on the Major Islands, but less and less in the North.
In detail – Monday 9th. In the north: irregular clouds, afternoon with thunderstorms in the Alps. In the center: dry morning, afternoon with thunderstorms over the Apennines and widespread in Sardinia. In the south: bad weather suffered on Sicily and Ionian Calabria, then it will worsen further on the island, unstable elsewhere.
– Tuesday 10th. In the north: mostly sunny and warm. Center: afternoon thunderstorm blocks on the reliefs. In the south: afternoon thunderstorms over internal Sicily and Basilicata.
– Wednesday 11. In the north: sun and summer heat. In the center: ample sunshine, warm. In the south: cloudy skies, rising temperatures.
– Trend: mostly warm and stable until the weekend.
