(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 09 – New accusations of corruption, for the exercise of the function and in judicial documents, for the former councilor of the CSM Luca Palamara by the Prosecutor of Perugia. The former councilor of the CSM and deputy prosecutor in Rome is in fact accused of having made available to two entrepreneurs “his functions and his powers” in exchange, among other things, for participating in “a very advantageous deal”, of the free use of a scooter, payment of some fines and stays in Capri and Rome. Crimes for which the prosecutors of the Umbrian capital have deposited the notice of conclusion of the investigations against the former magistrate, Leonardo Manfredi Ceglia and Federico Aureli.
In particular, Aureli is accused – based on investigations by the financial police – of having made Palamara participate in “a very advantageous deal” by granting him the opportunity to be an “occult partner” of Kando beach based in Olbia, Costa Smeralda. The share of the former director of the CSM would have been registered in the name of an accountant “long-time friend” of Palamara.
Kando beach – again according to the accusatory reconstruction – had therefore taken over a coffee bar at the beach of Porto Istana.
From the notice of conclusion of the investigations it emerges that the former magistrate “without having paid any amount” participated in the management by receiving the profits. Palamara, through his functions, was therefore interested in the administrative procedures relating to the activity of the bar. He is then accused of having “favored the success” of a criminal case in the court of Rome against two of Aureli’s relatives. Facts placed between October 2016 and May 2019.
Ceglia, as the legal representative of a company, must instead answer that he had offered Palamara four stays in accommodation facilities in Capri and “different” ones in Rome. This is to “favor the success” of a criminal proceeding against Ceglia and some relatives, as well as a cause for separation.
