(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 11 – Infections and victims for Covid are decreasing.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours the new infections are 42,249, almost 14 thousand less than yesterday, while the victims are 115, 43 fewer. The rate of positivity is also lowered, which goes from 15% to 14.3% on 294,611 swabs, and the number of hospitalized in intensive care and ordinary wards, respectively 338 patients – 20 fewer than yesterday, and 8,412, or 167 in the last 24 hours.
There are currently 1,041,196 people currently positive for Covid, 41,776 fewer than yesterday. In total, 16,915,301 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the dead have risen to 164,846. The discharged and healed are 15,709,259, with an increase of 84,344 compared to yesterday. (HANDLE).
