(ANSA) – REGGIO EMILIA, MAY 12 – The arrest was ordered against the three family members suspected in the death of Giuseppe Pedrazzini, the 77-year-old found dead in a well in front of the house where he lived in Cerrè Marabino, a hamlet of the Municipality of Toano , in the Reggiano Apennines. The son-in-law Riccardo and his daughter Silvia are investigated on charges of murder, body concealment and kidnapping, while his wife Marta only for body concealment. All three were taken to prison in Reggio Emilia by the carabinieri, because there are “serious indications of guilt”.
The three were questioned this morning by the deputy prosecutor Piera Cristina Giannusa, owner of the investigation file, but they all made use of the right not to answer. The validation hearing will be held on Monday in front of the investigating judge Dario De Luca. Meanwhile, investigations continue by investigators who are trying to shed full light on the incident, even with the seizure of mobile phones from the suspects. An autopsy will be placed on the victim’s body. (HANDLE).
