(ANSA) – TURIN, MAY 13 – Federico Buono, the 45-year-old environmental anarchist, arrested by the Digos of Milan on March 30 in via Frejus in Turin, was preparing an attack in the Piedmontese capital. This is the thesis of prosecutors Paolo Scafi and Enzo Bucarelli, who investigate the man accused of terrorism and considered close to the subversive South American group Its (Individualistas tendiendo a lo Salvaje).
Buono’s objectives would have been some subway stops and some buildings and parks, such as the Valentino, Palazzo di Giustizia. The police, as anticipated by the Turin newspaper ‘Cronaca Qui’, in fact confiscated in the apartment in via Frejus, in addition to an artisanal device under construction, seven handwritten sheets with the plan and the scheme of the claim: documents presented by the Public Prosecutor to the review court in recent days, on which there were the names of the stops, timetables and considerations on the flow of passengers. The Review rejected the request for release presented by the lawyer of the anarchist, Gianluca Vitale. “It is – the judges write – a sensational confirmation of his activity, which has overcome all the possible doubts that were previously posed with respect to his dangerousness”.
