(ANSA) – TURIN, MAY 13 – Sold out evening at the Eurovillage of Parco del Valentino. The lawn in front of the stage is full, where concerts have been going on since the afternoon, today dedicated to world music. The situation is under control and there are no particular problems in the area open to the public.

Instead, there is disappointment at the gates that enter the Village, now closed for a few hours to reach the maximum capacity. Despite the repeated announcements with the megaphone, which inform of the closure and invite you to leave, there are still hundreds of people thronged in the hope of entering. And after the forfeit of Blanco and Mahmood, we are consoled by improvising the chorus of Broglie.

However, there were no moments of tension, the only intervention of the police was necessary when a small group of about ten people entered the park, creating an opening between the side barriers, on Corso Massimo d’Azeglio. Aid in action for some ailments caused by heat, dehydration and some panic attacks.

As far as traffic is concerned, precisely due to the strong influx of people, near the gate of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, vehicular transit was interrupted for safety reasons. GTT informs that public transport is diverted to alternative routes. (HANDLE).
