Classroom ceiling plaster collapses, no children injured

Volleyball, Mazzanti:

(ANSA) – NAPLES, MAY 17 – A piece of plaster of about 40 centimeters detached this morning from the ceiling of a classroom in the Rodari complex of Caivano, in the province of Naples: the children had just left to go to the canteen, no one he was therefore involved in the collapse. If they had been present they would have risked consequences since the piece of plaster hit three or four stalls. The maintenance office of the local police also intervened on the spot.

“We are talking about a roof that was fixed just six months, how is it possible that all this has happened?”, Says Gaetano Ponticelli, president of the Council of the Institute and councilor of Caivano (Naples). “Luckily our children were not in the classroom because otherwise we could have found ourselves in front of a tragedy in the dining room”, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, the parents of the children of the Plesso Rodari di Caivano, told the regional councilor of Green Europe. “It is a very serious matter – explains Borrelli – for which we asked the school administration for explanations to understand how such a thing was possible.” (HANDLE).
