(ANSA) – VENICE, MAY 18 – A purple bench to invite the little ones to good manners but also to develop civic sense: the project ‘The bench of kindness’, created by the primary school ‘Cesco Baseggio’ inserted in the homonymous Institute inclusive of Marghera with the collaboration of the Municipality, aims to educate young students to the values of solidarity, inclusion, mutual respect and for the things of others.
A discarded bench, made available to students by the Municipality, has now been placed in the school garden.
The pupils of the first grades, coordinated by the teacher Nicoletta Mancuso, proceeded to clean and decorate it: after having painted it purple, the color symbol of kindness, the boys have affixed the words “Be kind, you will be civil”.
