(ANSA) – ALBIDONA, MAY 19 – Five vehicles, four trucks and a crawler excavator were destroyed, in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, by a fire of probable arson.
The vehicles, owned by a company engaged in earthmoving works on the third macrolotto of state road 106, Roseto-Sibari, were parked in a shed in “Piano della Torre”, in the municipality of Albidona, in the Cosentino area.
The damages that are being quantified and that seem not to be covered by insurance are significant. The firefighters of Trebisacce and Castrovillari and the carabinieri of the Cassano company who are conducting investigations into the incident and who, at the moment, do not exclude any leads, especially the malicious one, intervened on the spot.
