For this reason, three entrepreneurs (father and two children) and an employee of two fish companies in Bisceglie are under investigation in various capacities for counterfeiting of food substances, fraud in the exercise of trade, sale of non-genuine food substances, distribution of harmful foods. and personal injury. The carabinieri of the Nas, anti-sophistication unit, together with ASL staff are carrying out nine search decrees ordered by the public prosecutor of Trani at the two companies involved and the homes of the suspects and in two Campania analysis laboratories, in Avellino. The latter, private and accredited laboratories, provided the necessary certifications for the marketing of the tuna.
