Motorcycles against pedestrians, two dead and one injured in the Lecco area

(ANSA) – LECCO, MAY 22 – Two people died and one wounded, the toll of a very serious road accident that took place last night in Cassago, the center of Brianza in the province of Lecco, in which a motorcycle hit three pedestrians. The victims are the motorcyclist, a 54-year-old man, and one of the two pedestrians, aged 19 and 21, who ran over after losing control of the vehicle.

The accident occurred in via Nazario Sauro. Based on an initial reconstruction now being examined by the police, the 54-year-old would have lost control of his large-displacement motorcycle, facing a slow motion bump. At that point the bike ended up against the 19-year-old and one of the 21-year-old’s friends with whom he was on the side of the road.

General mobilization for ambulance and helicopter rescue from Como. The two most seriously injured were urgently transported to the hospitals of Lecco and Merate (Lecco) but there was nothing for them to do. The conditions of the second victim transported to the hospital in Lecco are less serious.
