Clashes between La Spezia and Napoli supporters, five arrests

(ANSA) – LA SPEZIA, MAY 24 – Five fans were arrested for the clashes that took place on Sunday at the ‘Picco’ stadium in La Spezia. There are four fans from La Spezia and one from Naples. The arrests took place flagrantly deferred after a lightning investigation conducted by the Digos agents of Spezia and Naples.

The alleged offenses are brawls, injuries, possession of objects capable of offending and climbing over the fence of the pitch and the interruption of the match. The arrested Neapolitan fan is a 51-year-old from the Vomero district with a criminal record. The police are focusing attention on the ultras group of the Fedayn who would also be the protagonists of the clashes in the post game. The La Spezia fans are aged between 26 and 43 years.

The La Spezia police headquarters are also analyzing the video footage inside and outside the peak stadium to identify the perpetrators of the throwing of objects, which took place both from the guest sector and from the nearby Curva Piscina.
