(ANSA) – NAPLES, MAY 25 – The carabinieri found in Volla, in the province of Naples, the scooter robbed of Gianfranco Wurzburger, president of the voluntary association Assogioca and exponent of Confcooperative Campania, late yesterday evening while he was returning with his 11-year-old son from a solidarity match held at the Maradona stadium in Naples.
According to the account provided to investigators by Wurzburger, the bandits, five in all, who went into action along Via Marina riding three scooters, pointed the gun in the boy’s face to force his father to hand over the motorcycle.
The carabinieri of the Compagnia Centro and of the Nucleo Radiomobile are also investigating another robbery, which took place 15 minutes earlier, in Piazza Municipio, again by five people who were traveling on three scooters, probably the same ones who later carried out the second robbery against Wurzburger.
