Sentenced for fake vaccines, ‘no conspiracy’ sentence

Dragons:

(ANSA) – TRIESTE, May 26 – The testimonies of the colleagues were considered “credible and convergent” and the medical-legal findings “strongly indicative of a lack of vaccine administration”. There was no conspiracy against the former health assistant of Spresiano (Treviso) Emanuela Petrillo, 36, sentenced by the Court of Udine to a sentence of 8 years and 6 months in prison for pretending to vaccinate hundreds of children, there was no conspiracy. The defensive thesis, oriented towards this direction or towards “generalized suggestion”, turned out to be “devoid of holds and logic with respect to procedural emergencies”. Thus the collegiate court justified the sentence of conviction against Petrillo for facts that occurred between 2014 and 2016 at the Codroipo and Treviso prevention departments.

In about fifty pages, as reported by the Messaggero Veneto, reference is also made to the decision not to give explanations by the accused, a decision that penalized her. Petrillo was held responsible for embezzlement, refusal of official documents, forgery in a public document and false certification. On the other hand, acquitted for episodes dating back to 2009, the crimes referring to the period from February 2012 have been prescribed.

The investigations started in June 2016 following a complaint from the top management of the Treviso health authority. A colleague of Petrillo “noticed that the needle was not inserted completely, but only a few millimeters – recalls the sentence – and that the plunger was not pushed to the bottom”. In May 2017, the complaint of the health company n.3 Alto Friuli also arrived. (HANDLE).
