Expensive diesel fuel: Fiumicino fishing boats stopped in port

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 26 – As announced yesterday evening, the more than twenty fishing boats, in addition to small fishing boats, from Fiumicino will all be moored in the canal port from today. Against the expensive diesel and the problems of the category, even the first navy in Lazio for quantity of fish and the second for number of boats after Anzio, has in fact entered a state of agitation again, after the protests already implemented last March : a stop to the bitter end until there are “satisfactory answers from the government” given that the “management costs are now prohibitive”.

Other unitary initiatives with the other Lazio navy are not excluded. If the detention continues for several days, it is not excluded that, as happened in March, restaurants, fishmongers and wholesalers will have to resort to stocks or imported products. (HANDLE).
