(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, MAY 29 – After the commemoration of the Emilian earthquake of May 20, with the participation of President Mattarella, Emilia-Romagna remembers the second shock, that, precisely, of May 29, which hit hard especially the world of work, while the attempt to get up was already in progress.
The President of the Region, Stefano Bonaccini, visited the construction site of the Civic Art Gallery of Cento (Ferrara), which housed the most important collection in the world of Guercino’s works. The works for the recovery of the Pinacoteca, severely damaged by the earthquake, are at an advanced stage. Then, in Pieve di Cento (Bologna) there was a ceremony to commemorate the phases of emergency and reconstruction.
In all that was the crater of the earthquake, there were many civil ceremonies and religious commemorations organized for the tenth anniversary between the provinces of Modena, Bologna and Ferrara.
