(ANSA) – BELVEDERE MARITTIMO, 29 MAY – There have been hardships due to the heavy rains that hit the province of Cosenza. The rainfall was concentrated in the Tyrrhenian area, and in particular in Belvedere Marittimo.
Many wineries and shops that have flooded. There were also traffic problems due to waterlogged roads, with many motorists getting stuck.
Firefighters have worked extensively to make the rooms flooded with water accessible. The carabinieri also intervened in the areas affected by the inconvenience.
The weather conditions, however, then gradually normalized and at the moment the situation has returned to calm.
