(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 31 – False certifications attesting cancer screening for career advancement. The Nas Carabinieri of Rome, assisted by the soldiers of the Territorial Arma, on order from the AG of Velletri, placed a doctor of the ASL Roma 6 under house arrest. The provision arises from an info-investigative activity of the Carabinieri del Nas supported by technical activities of environmental audio, video and telephone interception that made it possible to identify various criminal conducts against a medical director of the ASL Roma 6. The provision refers to crimes connected with the production of false certifications certifying the oncological screening (pap test and cervix-uterine) for the benefit of unsuspecting patients, in order to implement the results of the office directed by her to maintain and / or improve one’s position in the hierarchies of Local Health Authority of Rome 6. The certificates produced were inserted into the regional “SIPSO” platform, feeding the database, reaching high overall numbers that hid much less significant real data. (HANDLE).
