(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 31 – The Office for policies in favor of people with disabilities has approved the projects of the Regions and Autonomous Provinces for accessible tourism. The resources of the Fund of 30 million ‘for the inclusion of people with disabilities’, pursuant to art. 34, paragraph 2, of the decree-law of 22 March 2021, to the entities that responded to the public notice, assessed by an internal Commission of the Office for policies in favor of people with disabilities.
“The Fund’s resources will go to Regions and Autonomous Provinces that have presented projects to make tourism realities more accessible, which enhance the territory because, by addressing everyone, they enhance the tourist offer”, comments the Minister for Disabilities, Erika in a note. Stefani.
“We are talking about various kinds of initiatives, which – he adds – create new cultural routes, upgrade tourist facilities on beaches, lakes, in the mountains. Each project will be co-financed by the Regions and will create a multiplier effect, leading to other projects and attracting new investments. “.
