(ANSA) – STROMBOLI, 02 JUN – The mayor of Lipari Marco Giorgianni presented an exposed complaint to the carabinieri after the disastrous fire that broke out on 25 May in Stromboli. At the stake investigates the public prosecutor of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. “From what has been leaked – says the mayor Giorgianni – it would seem that the fire broke out on the film set of the Rai fiction ‘Civil Protection’ during the simulation of a fire for film purposes”. Mayor Giorgianni confirmed that for the date of 25 May the Municipality has not granted any authorization to any film crew for access to the summit area of the island, nor to light fires, to simulate them and to film. Exhibits have also been announced by the Pro Loco of Stromboli, Federalberghi and Italia Nostra. (HANDLE).
