(ANSA) – MILAN, 02 JUN – The Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office has closed the investigation in view of the request for trial against the real estate developer Danilo Coppola, who has been in Switzerland for some time, and Giuseppe Vitali, one of the partners of the ‘Immobiliare Orizzonti “, which is based in the Canton of Ticino, for the story of the attempted extortion against Prelios, the asset management company that owns the Porta Vittoria real estate complex in Milan.
The investigation for which there is a request for custody in prison by the Milanese judiciary against Coppola, but rejected by the Swiss authorities, is coordinated by the prosecutor Mauro Clerici and is an offshoot of that on the bankruptcies of the Real Estate Group 2004, of Mib Prima and Porta Vittoria, which cost the Lazio property developer a 7-year prison sentence on appeal.
