4-year-old girl risks drowning in a water park in Switzerland

(ANSA) – MILAN, 03 JUN – A 4-year-old girl risked drowning yesterday afternoon in a water park in Monteceneri, in the Canton of Ticino, in Switzerland. The child, found unconscious in the water, was rescued and resuscitated by her father and by the staff of the facility. She was transported to the hospital, according to the doctors she is not in danger of life.

The child and the parent are of Italian nationality and reside in the province of Milan. It was the cantonal police, which intervened on the spot together with the inter-municipal police of Vedeggio and the Green Cross of Lugano, to reconstruct the incident.

The little girl was unconscious in a bath in the factory and was immediately recovered by her father and by the security staff. It was they who carried out the first resuscitation maneuvers and alerted the rescuers. (HANDLE).
