Skip flight from Split, pilgrims from Campania stranded in Croatia

(ANSA) – NAPLES, JUN 06 – Sixty Campania pilgrims returning from Medjugorje are blocked in Croatia, at Split airport, after today’s easyJet flight EJU4840, scheduled for 12, was canceled, without, they say “that no reason has been communicated”.

The group comes from Cilento, in the province of Salerno, from Nola, from Castellammare di Stabia and its surroundings, from Santa Maria la Carità, Vico Equense, in the Neapolitan area and Mondragone, in the Caserta area. A disabled woman and three children are also part of it: to accompany the group, which had left last Wednesday from Naples, a priest, Don Antonio Razzano. The next direct flight from Split is scheduled for next Wednesday.

The group of pilgrims will sleep tonight in the Croatian city awaiting news. (HANDLE).
