(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 07 – The African anticyclone Scipione retreats to the south after almost a week and gives way to fresh currents from the north, which will bring storms and drop in temperatures. According to Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologist of iLMeteo.it, the anomalous temperatures of these days (Saturday 40.4 ° C in Alghero, Sunday 39 ° C in Pescara, just to give two examples) with record values ​​for the beginning of June, are destined to drop even 10 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms with hail will be possible until Saturday 11 June: we will have a drop in temperatures of up to 10 degrees on the Adriatic side, going from anomalous 35 ° to anomalous 25 °, from above average to below average. An intensification of the wind is then expected from Thursday to Saturday, in particular on the Adriatic belt: the Grecale will return, the fresh wind from the Northeast descending from the Balkans.

From mid-week rough sea on the Adriatic side and drop in temperatures expected. The Adriatic basin will then become very choppy from Abruzzo downwards with waves up to 2-3 meters and some modest storm surges.
