Retaliation after ‘anti-bully’ chat, baby gang exposed

(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, JUN 07 – Four children between 12 and 13 years have been reported by the carabinieri to the Prosecutor’s Office for Minors of Bologna, accused of having attacked and robbed some peers, ‘guilty’ of having given birth to an anti-bullying chat. The events took place last spring in a middle school in the Savena district. It was two boys and a girl who conceived the chat, where companions and companions could report violence and oppression suffered.

The initiative in a few weeks has garnered many adhesions, but the bullies themselves did not like them, who further exacerbated their bullying, in particular towards the creators of the same chat. The latter thus turned to the teachers, who in turn notified the carabinieri of the San Ruffillo station who, in a short time, went back to the gang. The age of the four makes them not attributable, but investigations and testimonies collected by investigators led them to report them to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of Bologna for the alleged crimes of harassment, attempted robbery and theft. The carabinieri explain that they have reconstructed that the group would have been responsible for at least two episodes: a boy attacked after refusing to hand over his cell phone, a girl stolen from her cell phone and a 20 euro banknote. Two of the four identified minors had already gotten into trouble last January: they were in fact part of the ‘baby gang’ unmasked by the carabinieri always in the Savena area and responsible for a series of harassment of the elderly and children, damage to cars and soiling of walls. Over the next few days, the four teenagers will be heard in the presence of their parents. (HANDLE).
