(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 09 – The 80-year-old mother who died at home watched over for days. The old woman was found by the carabinieri in the corridor of the house in via del Volsci, in the San Lorenzo district in Rome, among the garbage. A report on the matter was sent to the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office. To alert the police were the neighbors who reported a strong smell coming from the house. To open the door a 43-year-old woman, daughter of the deceased and with psychiatric problems, who initially did not want to let the operators in. After a brief negotiation, the men of the weapon managed to enter and found her body in an advanced state of decomposition. It is not excluded that the Prosecutor’s Office may order an autopsy.
