(ANSA) – LAMEZIA TERME, 09 JUN – A 74-year-old businessman, Felice Nicolazzo, died in an accident at work in Lamezia Terme. Nicolazzo was the administrator of the company which had been entrusted with the renovation of the facade of a building.
The man, for reasons under investigation, fell from the scaffolding that had been set up in preparation for the work, which had not yet begun. Nicolazzo died shortly after being admitted to the hospital in Catanzaro, where he had arrived in very serious conditions.
According to what emerged from the first investigations by the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Lamezia Terme, the entrepreneur was on the scaffolding to carry out an inspection in view of the start of the renovation of the facade of the building.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Lamezia Terme, directed by Salvatore Curcio, has launched an investigation to ascertain the dynamics of the accident and any responsibilities in relation to what happened. (HANDLE).
