(ANSA) – GENOA, 11 JUN – Thousands of people, many young people and young people, are in the square in Genoa for Pride 2022, with the procession opened by the wagon entitled “offensive and divisive”, the colors of the rainbow, bright clothes, make up and hairstyles to note, lots of banners, signs – “we are all a little bit gay” -, choirs and lots of music. After two years of absence due to the pandemic (no event in 2020, only a garrison in 2021) the great parade organized for Liguria Pride is a success.
In the square with many very young parents and families with children. “We are aiming for 30 thousand participants” announced the organizers who are already happy to participate in the Pride Village set up in the Luzzati gardens in recent days, including stalls, concerts, conferences and debates.
The procession started from via San Benedetto and after a long journey ends the day in piazza De Ferrari.
Before departure, the organizers open a controversy with the local police. “It’s okay not to have the patronage, but at least the management of safety and traffic – accuse Laura Guidetti and Ilaria Gibelli – the brigade arrived half an hour late and we had to set up between the passing cars and buses”.
