Pizza Village Naples, the tenth edition kicks off (ANSA)

Pursuit through the streets of the capital between a BMW and police and carabinieri cars. To stop the fugitive, a 39-year-old Albanian who had forced a checkpoint near the Vatican, a shot was also fired in the direction of the car’s wheels. The man however fled and was stopped after a short chase by the police who used the taser to block him.

The car continued its run in the direction of via Gregrorio VII where it was intercepted by a police car. However, the man continued on his run. During his escape he would have thrown a wallet and a watch out of the window. To block it, a police vehicle stood sideways on the road and was hit by the fugitive’s BMW who was locked in the car so much that a window glass had to be broken to get it out of the car. After stopping him, also thanks to the use of the teser, the 39-year-old was taken to the hospital as well as two officers who were injured in the daring chase.
