(ANSA) – PALERMO, JUN 19 – Two dead and two injured is the balance of a road accident that took place last night, at 1.50, in the upper part of via Etnea, at the turning intersection with via Sacro Cuore, in Catania. An Opel car collided with a large-displacement Ducati motorcycle. The 31-year-old motorcycle driver (VA) died instantly, while the 21-year-old passenger (SL) died a few minutes later, despite the resuscitation maneuvers of the 118 medical staff.
The driver of the car (GK) and the passenger (DF) were treated for injuries in the emergency room of the Polyclinic.
The local police investigate the causes of the accident: the two vehicles were seized at the disposal of the prosecutor.
