(ANSA) – MILAN, 20 JUN – A 40-year-old motorist was denounced by the carabinieri in Carate Brianza (Monza), accused of having hit a man with the car he was driving and escaped, before returning on foot at the scene of the car accident and make sure you are not detected by beating a witness.
Based on the first investigations, the man from Brianza, driving his mother’s Volkswagen Golf, hit a 41-year-old man, also a resident of Brianza. Immediately afterwards he approached the injured man, then transported to the hospital with multiple fractures and 35 days of hospitalization in front of him, and tried to forcibly pull him up. When some passersby tried to block it, the driver ran away. Half an hour later he returned to the site on foot, believing he was not recognized, while the rescuers were preparing to take the injured away after stabilizing him.
“He hit him,” shouted a man who recognized him. At that point he hit him in the face and fled again. He was tracked home, while he was pretending to sleep, by the military. He must answer for escape and failure to rescue and for refusing to undergo health checks to verify if he had used alcohol and drugs. (HANDLE).
