Sarzana murders: Bedini makes a silent scene in front of the judge

(ANSA) – GENOA, 20 JUN – Daniele Bedini availed himself of the right not to answer in the guarantee questioning relating to the murder of the transsexual Camilla, born in Carlo Bertolotti, 43, which took place two weeks ago in Marinella di Sarzana ( La Spezia), 24 hours after the killing of the prostitute Nevila Pjetri, 35. Bedini, 32, is a suspect in both murders. This morning the craftsman, residing in Carrara, did not answer the questions of the investigating judge Garofalo, who was remotely connected with Bedini, who is in the La Spezia prison. The prostitute had been killed in the night between 4 and 5 June in Marinella di Sarzana and 24 hours later it was Camilla’s turn not far from the scene of the first crime. Both had been beaten and shot to the head.

The weapon used is a .22 caliber, like the pistol stolen from Bedini’s father and not yet found. Nevila Pjetri was allegedly killed during a robbery: according to investigators, the thirty-year-old was looking for money to buy drugs, while Camilla perhaps because he was an uncomfortable witness to the first murder or always for robbery.
