(ANSA) – ANCONA, 20 JUN – He quarrels at home with his wife and then hits her with a rubber hammer on the head, several times, causing her to collapse to the ground. After her, believing her dead, he fled and committed suicide. It happened this morning around 6:30 in the Santa Maria area in Filottrano (Ancona). The carabinieri of the local station, coordinated by the Osimo Company, were looking for the man, 52-year-old of Moldavian origin, to arrest him on charges of attempted murder but found him dead. Her wife, about 50 years old, also Moldovan, suffered serious injuries she is hospitalized in Ancona, on a confidential prognosis, but she is not in danger of life. It was the woman, despite her being wounded and bleeding, who stood up and called the carabinieri.
The 52-year-old, according to the results of the first investigations by the carabinieri, would not have accepted the idea of separating from his wife, as she would have liked.
