Gigi Bici: physiotherapist also accused of the murder

(ANSA) – PAVIA, 22 JUN – There is a decisive turning point in the investigation for the killing of Luigi Criscuolo, 60, known to everyone in Pavia as Gigi Bici. Barbara Pasetti, 40, the physiotherapist of the Calignano fraction of Cura Carpignano (Pavia), is now also formally under investigation for the aggravated murder of the man. This was made known by a press release from the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office signed by the prosecutor Fabio Napoleone.

The woman, already locked up in the women’s section of the Piccolini prison in Vigevano (Pavia) since last January 20 for the hypothesis of the crime of attempted extortion, was notified of the new precautionary custody order by the agents of the Pavia mobile squad with the ‘most serious murder charge.

Criscuolo had disappeared from home on the morning of last Monday 8 November: on the same day, according to investigators, Barbara Pasetti killed him with the 7.65 caliber pistol she herself had given him. With that weapon, in fact, Gigi Bici should have attacked Gian Andrea Toffano, the woman’s ex-husband. On 8 November, however, Criscuolo showed up at the villa in Calignano to return the weapon because he no longer wanted to take part in the plan. At that point, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, Barbara Pasetti stole his gun and, wearing gloves, shot him in the left temple, killing him.

Subsequently, again according to the accusation, the physiotherapist moved Criscuolo’s body to the back of the house, covered it with weeds coming from the internal vegetation of the villa, placing it in the place where it was later found on the afternoon of Monday 20 December. (HANDLE).
