(ANSA) – NAPLES, JUN 23 – Four arrests and seventy searches throughout Italy in an investigation, born after the investigations on the Berlin attack on the Christmas markets in December 2016, which began with the analysis of the knowledge and reports by terrorist Anis Amri. The investigation made it possible to disrupt a criminal association which, in recent years, has supported the production and delivery of false Italian documents to illegal foreigners, of which Amri himself had been a beneficiary. In the early hours of the morning the State Police carried out 4 precautionary measures issued by the Judge for the Preliminary Investigations of Naples. In the investigation coordinated by the Naples DDA, the agents of the Digos of the Rome Police Headquarters and of the Central Directorate of the Prevention Police, assisted by the Digos of the Naples and Caserta police stations, carried out the precautionary custody order that provides for the prison for three people, a Senegalese, a Guinean and a Ghanaian, and house arrest for a quarter foreigner from Central Africa, part of a chain dedicated to false documents operating in the provinces of Naples and Caserta. One of the four recipients of the precautionary measure, thanks to the collaboration of the Judicial Authority and the Dutch Police, was tracked down in the night in Rotterdam and arrested under a European arrest warrant requested by the Naples Anti-Mafia District Directorate.
