Parish party and sex festival, events will coexist in Rapallo

(ANSA) – GENOA, 23 JUN – A patronal feast and a festival on education and sexual health will have to coexist over the next weekend (25 and 26 June) in the hamlet of San Pietro di Novella in Rapallo (Genoa). The parish priest Don Beppe Culoma, happy to have found the celebrations of the SS.

Pietro and Paolo between processions, masses, food stands and lottery, will have to deal with the boys of the Nassa Rapallo group who have created the first edition of Sextival, a festival on sexual education. The appointment is in an area close to the parish.

Don Beppe proves tolerant but makes it a matter of public order: “This initiative will occupy the spaces that were usually intended for parking at the party – he explains -. Not having them available will be a problem of how and where the vehicles will be parked. I talked about it with the carabinieri and I asked for explanations in the Municipality, they replied that being a private event there was no way to intervene. If they had organized this event in another weekend there would have been no problems “.

“It was an oversight – respond the organizers of the Sexfestival – we are sorry but I think there will be no problems, we have different targets”.

There remain the two programs that, put in parallel, sound at least curious: on Saturday 25 at the mass, at the opening of the food stands and at the dance evening in honor of St. Peter, the Sextival responds with workshops and meetings on gender, on the rights of rainbow families and with the testimony of the trans Rossella Bianchi to mention some appointments of the rich calendar. On Sunday there will be two masses, while on the other hand we will talk about abortion and the right to sexual pleasure.

The “Sextival” was born from the idea of the boys belonging to the Nassa-Rapallo association: “The spark that triggered the” Sextival “dates back to a survey we compiled, aimed at the boys mainly resident in Rapallo, which demonstrated how this the latter express the need to deepen the topic of sexual health “conclude the boys of the Nassa.
