Money was handed out right in the VR toilet: on the eve of his death Polyakov commented on the voting of the “servants”

Three days before his death, MP Anton Polyakov said that “servants of the people” handed out envelopes with money for supporting the law on oligarchs just in the toilet of the Verkhovna Rada.

He said this on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.

“When there was the last vote on oligarchs, my colleague after the vote goes to the toilet, and in his presence the ‘servants’ are given money … I went to NABU, gave evidence, but the man was afraid. What should I do? Put a gun on and say – go, Under him they were distributed. So what kind of democratic parliament can you talk about when these “servants” work for the “envelopes”? “ said Polyakov.

Also on the evening of October 7, the deputy criticized the Servant of the People party for the fact that three of the five bills that he proposed were not brought to the hall for voting.

What is known about Anton Polyakov?

• Anton Polyakov was born on November 11, 1987 in Chernigov into a large family. He is survived by a wife and two daughters.
• He got to the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People party. But on November 15, 2019, he and Anna Skorokhod were expelled from the faction. The official reason is non-voting for bills, on which there is a common decision of the faction.
• And in December 2019, Polyakov decided to leave the Servant of the People party altogether and in 2020 became a member of the For Maybutn party.
• Polyakov is also known for having submitted more than 6 thousand amendments to the banking bill regulating the issues of banks withdrawn from the market. In general, a record number of amendments have been submitted to the bill – more than 16 thousand.
• On September 2, 2020, Polyakov was attacked in the center of Kiev. An unknown person on the street began to strangle the people’s deputy and threaten him. Then the attacker struck several blows in the chest area.
