(ANSA) – TRENTO, 27 JUN – The lack of water is starting to be felt even in the aqueducts of Trentino. The lack of rainfall has led ten municipalities of Vallagarina to place restrictions on the use of water. The local newspaper l’Adige reports it.
In Pomarolo the use of drinking water from the aqueducts of Pomarolo, Savignano and Serbia is allowed only at night, from 10pm to 6am. In Brentonico it is forbidden to consume water for watering orchards and gardens, washing vehicles and filling tubs, swimming pools and ornamental fountains. In Nogaredo, since the end of May, the use of water for non-domestic needs is only allowed between 8 and 10 and between 21 and 23. In Terragnolo it is forbidden to use the water from public fountains for non-domestic and drinking purposes. . In Ronzo Chienis, the supply of drinking water has been suspended since 21 June between 11 pm and 6 am. In Vallarsa, the closure of public fountains and the limitation of the use of drinking water for domestic purposes has been ordered. In Isera, “anomalous withdrawals from aqueducts” are prohibited. The mayors of the municipalities of Villa Lagarina and Ala recommend avoiding waste, while measures are expected in Trambileno to tackle the lack of water in the aqueducts. (HANDLE).
